The DJ iiosh Debut
Lankford Media is honored to introduce its latest talent, DJ
iiosh; Making his debut at the Annual Dinner for the Executive MBA Graduating Class of TCU, held
at the Fort Worth Club in downtown Fort Worth, Texas.
Its Saturday Night at the Fort Worth Club, an exclusive
country club located in the heart of downtown Fort Worth. Many members are
holding events for their weddings, organizations and clubs. Lankford Media was bestowed
the highest honor of providing entertainment and ambiance for the annual dinner
of TCU’s 2013 Executive MBA Class. The DJ is a 16 year-old prodigy that takes
music seriously. This is to be his first professional experience entertaining a
crowd. By the end of the evening, the dinner turned into a blowout event. No
one wanted it to end; Not even DJ iiosh.
The Executive MBA’s were a highly energetic, jovial and
obviously intelligent group. The inclusion they offered the Lankford Media team
was warm and open, allowing the team to have as good of a time as everyone,
which in turn fed back into the ambiance, creating a vibe so filled with life
and excitement, no one wanted to leave the dinner. The host of the annual
dinner informed the DJ that he would have to actually turn the music and lights
off in order to encourage everyone to migrate to the next planned venue. The DJ, surrounded by members of the class,
refused and the dinner portion ran an hour over.
DJ iiosh is the understudy of Master DJ, 'Heavy G'. When questioned
about his decision to debut DJ iiosh at such an important event, filled with societal
influencers and policy makers, Producer and Mentor Gary Lankford had this to
say: “DJ iiosh has that gift of ear, mixed with charisma and a genuine ability
to connect with people to bring that energy where he wants it to be and where
the crowd wants to go. He has that rare admixture that allows an event to
become legendary.” When asked to define legendary, Mr. Lankford replied: “Legendary events are what people remember and talk about for decades. They highlight people’s
lives and provide a marker to remember joy shared. This is what we deliver in
the moment- legendary events.”
It was our honor to produce another legendary event for such a phenomenal group of societal contributors.
